Frog Rock Grand Canyon Introduction
On the way from Jianshi to Simakusi, there is a giant rock resembling a frog facing the mountain, squatting in the valley. According to legend, a giant frog came here in pursuit of a pair of large mosquitoes. The mosquitoes flew to the mountain top, but the frog was blocked by the steep cliff and could not cross over, so it gazed longingly at the mountain for hundreds of years until it eventually transformed into a giant stone. The "Frog Rock" in Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County is located in the valley between Jinxing Village and Naluo Creek, and is very magnificent, with an abyss beneath it that is bottomless and a waterfall about 40 meters high, cascading down spectacularly. It is a beautiful recreation spot that can be reached from the natural valley to this river valley. "Frog Rock" is a奇 stone standing in the valley, not only in appearance but also a testament to the power of nature. It is a unique landscape in Jianshi Township and a must-visit place for tourists.
