Frog Rock Gorge Introduction

On the way from Jian Shi to Si Ma Ku Si, you can see a giant rock resembling a frog in the valley, facing the mountain. Legend has it that a giant frog came here in pursuit of a pair of large mosquitoes, but it was blocked by a steep mountain wall and unable to cross. After hundreds of years, it transformed into a giant stone. The "Frog Rock" in the Jin Ping Village of Jian Shi Township, Hsinchu County, is situated in the valley of the Naluo River and is quite magnificent, with an abyss at its feet and a waterfall about 40 meters high cascading down, creating a spectacular sight. It is a beautiful recreational spot that can be accessed from the natural valley to this river valley. The "Frog Rock" is a remarkable stone standing in the valley, not only in appearance but also a testament to the power of nature, making it a unique scenic spot in Jian Shi Township that is a must-visit for tourists.
