Lin Pi Tomb Introduction
Lin Pi Jiangjun was a native of Tong'an County, Fujian, and a famous general under Zheng Chenggong during the Ming Dynasty. He had a remarkable military record and held the position of a staff officer. Initially, he stationed troops in Douliu Men (now Douliu) to cultivate the land. At that time, there were many indigenous people in Zhushan, so he led his troops to attack Niuchukou (now Zhonghe Village in Zhushan) and Dongpu (now Yanping Village in Zhushan), stationed at Zhuwei Village (now Zhuwei Village in Zhushan). One day, they were surrounded by indigenous people and ran out of ammunition and food. More than a hundred of his subordinates sacrificed themselves there. In the 29th year of the Republic of China, the Japanese recognized his spirit and built a wooden monument and embankment for future generations to visit and pay their respects.
