Iron Forging Alley Introduction

In the alley in front of the Nonghui Dongyang Building, approximately 80 meters long, it connects to Zhongshan Market. After finishing their business at the agricultural association, farmers and agricultural workers would go into the alley to buy ironware for daily use from the Zhushan rural area. The alley used to have a Wen Chang Temple, a Guanyin Pavilion, and the Chen family ancestral residence. The Wen Chang Temple, which is a Confucian temple, has been moved to Ke Ming Temple, and the Guanyin statue has now been moved to the Mazu Temple. The Ironmaking Alley originally had three shops: Lai Fa, Ren Chun, and Xi Man. Currently, only Lai Fa is still operational. The ironware is also transforming according to the characteristics of Zhushan's industries, with local ironware items such as bamboo chopsticks, betel nut knives, bamboo shoots shovels, and banana spoons being produced. The molds for making pig knives from back in the day are still preserved.
