Dajia Night Market Introduction

In the alley in front of the Nonghui Dongyang Building, approximately 80 meters long, connects to Zhongshan Market. After completing their business at the agricultural association, the farmers often go into the alley to buy ironware for rural life in Zhushan. There used to be a Wen Chang Shrine and a Guanyin Pavilion as well as the ancestral home of the Chen family in the alley. The Wen Chang Shrine, which was a Confucius temple, has been relocated to Kemin Palace, while Guanyin has been moved to the Mazu Temple. The "Daitie Alley" originally had three shops: Lai Fa, Ren Chun, and Xi Man. Currently, Lai Fa is still in operation. The ironware is also evolving according to the characteristics of the Zhushan industry, with local ironware such as bamboo chopsticks, betel nut knives, winter bamboo shoot shovels, and banana knives. The molds used for making pig knives from back in the day are still preserved.
