Dongshi Eco-Park Introduction
Dongshi Environmental Park, built at the end of 2010, is a green space restored by the Luko Township Office. Located near the coast, it features landscape facilities such as an entrance wall, a stone maze, and stone paths. During the flower season, the blooming wild sunflowers attract many independent travelers. Previously, this area was the earliest landfill in Penghu, which ceased operations in 2003 due to saturation. The township office repurposed the Dongshi landfill site for this park, which includes a Liao Gu stone maze, scenic pathways, flower trellises, stone tables, and stone chairs. The stone maze is about 100 cm high and is a small maze surrounded by a vast grassland, with a traditional red-painted ox cart placed in one corner. Dongshi Environmental Park is close to the coastline and Penghu Airport, conveniently located near flight paths, making it a great spot for taking photos, enjoying the scenery, feeling the breeze, and watching airplanes during the summer when the wild sunflowers are in full bloom. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours
