Lingxiao Pagoda, Chongguang Village Introduction

Shigandang Appearance: Tower-shaped structure: Conical shape Total height: 6.04M Total circumference: 18.5M Tower top ornament: Gourd In the early days before the cross-sea bridge was built, the geographical connection between Tongliang and Xiyu was commonly referred to as "Houmen." Environmentally, it seemed that seawater would rush toward the village, and the western end of Chongguangli was called Caozaiwei, which used to belong to Makung's first public cemetery. Therefore, the deity of Weiling Temple, Lord Wang, instructed the construction of a tower to mitigate the geographical flaw, naming it "Lingxiao Pagoda." The gourd at the top of the tower faces all directions and, along with the "Zhangshui Divine Stone Tablet" situated between Rihtan and Yuetan, jointly protects the entire village.
