Lingxiao Pagoda, Chongguang Village Introduction
Shigandang Appearance: Tower-shaped structure: Conical Total height: 6.04 meters Total circumference: 18.5 meters Apex ornament: Gourd Before the construction of the cross-sea bridge, the geography between Tongliang and Xiyu was commonly referred to as "Houmen." In terms of the environment, it seemed as though the seawater would surge towards the village, and the western end of Chongguang Village was known as Caozaitou, which used to belong to the first cemetery of Magong. Therefore, the deity of the Weiling Temple, Wang Ye, instructed the construction of the tower to counteract the geographical flaw, naming it "Lingxiaobao Tower." The gourd at the top of the tower faces all directions and works together with the "Zhanshui Divine Stone Tablet" between Ri Tan and Yue Tan to protect the entire village.
