Nansha Tourist Service Center Introduction
The South China Sea Tourist Service Center is located next to the Nanhai Wharf, at the Third Fishing Port of Penghu. It consists of two buildings, the new and the old, and primarily serves as a temporary resting area for travelers waiting for ferries to the various islands in the South China Sea. The tourist center also provides travel information and ticket sales for yacht operators heading to the South China Sea. It is the gateway to the South China Sea and the southern islands (Dongping, Hujing, Wang-an, Qimei, Dongji, Xiji, Dongyuping, and Xiyuping). The center is equipped with various facilities, including a travel consultation area, yacht services, a waiting room, a shop, a coffee plaza, a luggage room, and washrooms. There is a designated luggage storage area, open from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. The service counter at the tourist center has resident interpreters available for inquiries regarding travel. There is also a ticket counter for South China Sea speedboat operators inside the tourist center, and some yacht operators sell tickets from temporary booths outside the center. Both tourists and locals traveling to the small islands must use the Nanhai Wharf for transportation. Therefore, peak times for speedboat departures and returns are from 6 AM to 9 AM and from 3 PM to 5 PM daily. [Recommended stay time] 0.5 hours.
