Nanhai Tourist Service Center Introduction
The South China Sea Tourism Service Center is located next to the South China Sea Wharf, specifically at the Penghu Third Fishing Harbor. It consists of two buildings, the new and the old, primarily serving as a temporary resting area for tourists waiting to board boats to various islands in the South China Sea. The visitor center also provides tourism information and ticket sales for yacht operators heading to the South China Sea. It is the gateway to the South China Sea and several southern islands (including Dongyin, Huagen, Wang-an, Qimei, Dongji, Xiji, Dongyuping, and Xiyuping). Inside the South China Sea Tourism Service Center, there are services such as travel consultation and explanation, yacht services, waiting areas, a retail section, a coffee plaza, luggage rooms, and restrooms. A designated luggage storage area is available, with operating hours from 06:30 AM to 09:30 PM. The service desk at the visitor center is staffed with on-site personnel who can assist with tourism-related questions. There is also a ticketing office for South China Sea speedboat operators set up within the visitor center, and many yacht operators additionally sell speedboat tickets at temporary stalls outside the center. Tourists and locals traveling to and from the various small islands must use the South China Sea Wharf for transportation. Peak hours for speedboats departing and returning are typically between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, as well as 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. 【Recommended Stay Duration】 0.5 hours
