Built in the 13th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1602 AD), it has been 412 years since then. The forebears of Houliao Village in Baisha Township, despite the hardships of turbulent waves, crossed the sea from Jincheng, Fujian Province to Penghu. They faced numerous difficulties while diligently cultivating the land. However, local outbreaks of disease often occurred, leading the village elders to establish the Weiling Temple at this site to worship Emperor Baosheng for the safety and well-being of the entire village.

Main deity: Baosheng Dadi Festival date: The 15th day of the third lunar month Established in the 13th year of the Wanli era (1602 AD), it has a history of 412 years. The ancestors of Houliao Village in Baisha Township, despite the hardships of turbulent waves, crossed the sea from Jinning, Fujian Province to Penghu, and laboriously cleared the land here. However, local outbreaks of malaria often occurred, prompting the village elders to establish the Weiling Temple to worship Baosheng Dadi, seeking blessings for the safety of the entire village.
