Built in the 13th year of the Wanli era (1602), it has now been 412 years. The ancestors of Houliao Village in Baisha Township, despite the hardships of tumultuous waves, crossed the sea from Fujian Province to Penghu. They worked hard to cultivate the land, overcoming many obstacles, but the area frequently experienced miasma outbreaks. At that time, the elders of the village established the Weiling Palace to worship Emperor Baosheng, in order to bless the entire village with peace and safety.

Main Deity: Emperor Baosheng Festival Date: 15th day of the 3rd month in the lunar calendar Founded in the 13th year of the Wanli Era (1602 AD), it has been 412 years to date. The ancestors of the villagers in Houliao, Baisha Township, overcame the hardships of tumultuous seas, crossing from Jinmen in Fujian Province to Penghu. They toiled and cleared the land, but local diseases frequently occurred. At this time, the elders of the village established the Weiling Temple at this site to worship Emperor Baosheng, seeking blessings for the safety of the entire village.
