Bao'an Temple was built in the second year of the Shunzhi period by the ancestors who came from the mainland after crossing the sea to Penghu. In the first year of the Jiaqing period, it was relocated to its current site, which was established in this village. Due to its clear guidance and personal divine manifestations in response to prayers regarding diseases, local geography, and soil issues, it is still revered and worshiped by the villagers today.

Bao'an Temple Introduction

The main deity worshiped: Lord Kang Festival date: April 24 of the lunar calendar. Baoan Temple was established by the ancestors from the mainland, constructed in the second year of the Shunzhi era after crossing the sea to Penghu, and moved to its present location in the first year of the Jiaqing era. It was built based on the needs of the villagers. Due to its clear guidance and personal manifestations regarding diseases, geographical issues, and local conditions, it is still revered and worshiped by the villagers today.
