Bao'an Temple was built by the ancestors of the pioneers who came from the mainland. It was established in the second year of the Shunzhi era after crossing the sea to Kinmen. In the first year of the Jiaqing era, it was moved to its current site, which was founded in this village. Due to its clear guidance and manifestations in response to requests for help with diseases, geographical conditions, and other issues, it continues to be revered and worshiped by the local community to this day.

Bao'an Temple Introduction

The main deity worshiped: Lord Kang Festival date: April 24 of the lunar calendar. Bao'an Temple was established by the ancestors from the mainland after crossing the sea to Penghu, built in the second year of Shunzhi, and relocated to its current site in the first year of Jiaqing, based in this village. Due to its clear guidance and personal manifestations in response to the prayers of devotees concerning issues like diseases and local geography, it is still revered and worshiped by the villagers today.
