Yangmingshan Hot Spring Area - Xiaoyoukeng Introduction
Xiao You Keng is a geological scenic area formed by post-volcanic activity. From the XiaoguanYin Station on the Yangjin Highway, a right turn leads to the viewing trail, characterized by features such as fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and spectacular collapse topography formed by "post-volcanic activity." From the lookout platform here, visitors can also enjoy distant views of Zhuzi Mountain, Datun Mountain, QixING Mountain, and XiaoguanYin Mountain, as well as the Jinshan coastline and parking areas. For those who enjoy observing plants, a short hike of about ten minutes on the nearby JianZhu Forest Trail allows for the observation of arrow bamboo forests, miscanthus grasslands, and volcanic plants.
