Yangmingshan Hot Spring Area - Xiaoyoukeng Introduction
Xiao Youkeng is a geological landscape area formed by post-volcanic activity. The viewing trail can be accessed by turning right at the Xiaoguanyin Station along the Yangjin Highway. The area is characterized by unique features such as vents, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and spectacular landslide topography formed by post-volcanic activity. From the observation platform here, you can enjoy distant views of volcanic cones like Zhuzi Mountain, Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain, and Xiaoguanyin Mountain, as well as the Jinshan coastline and parking lot. Nature enthusiasts can also take a short stroll through the nearby Arrow Bamboo Forest Trail to observe arrow bamboo forests, miscanthus grasslands, and volcanic plants.
