Yangmingshan Hot Spring Area - Xiaoyoukeng Introduction
Xiao You Keng is a geological park formed by post-volcanic activity. It can be accessed by turning right at the Xiaoguanyin Station on the Yangjin Highway to reach the scenic walking trail. Its unique features include fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and spectacular collapse topography formed by "post-volcanic activity." From the observation platform here, visitors can also gaze at volcanic cones such as Zhuzishi Mountain, Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain, and Xiao Guanyin Mountain, as well as Jinshan Coast and the parking lot. Nature enthusiasts can take a short walk to the nearby Arrow Bamboo Forest Trail in about ten minutes to observe the bamboo forest, miscanthus grassland, and volcanic plants.
