Yangmingshan Hot Spring Area - Xiaoyoukeng Introduction
Xiao You Keng is a geothermal landscape area formed by post-volcanic activity. It can be accessed by turning right at the Xiao Guanyin Station along the Yangjin Highway, leading to a scenic walkway. The area is characterized by features such as fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and spectacular landslide terrain resulting from "post-volcanic activity." From the observation platform here, visitors can also enjoy distant views of volcano cones like Zhuzi Mountain, Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain, and Xiao Guanyin Mountain, as well as the Jinshan coastline and parking lot. Nature enthusiasts can take a short walk on the nearby Jianzhulins Trail to observe the arrow bamboo forest, Miscanthus grasslands, and volcanic plants within just a few minutes.
