Evergreen Maritime Museum Introduction

The establishment of the Evergreen Maritime Museum has long been a dream of Mr. Chang Jung-fa, the chairman of the Evergreen Group. He hopes to use the museum to express his deep connection with the ocean and promote maritime education in Taiwan. This is a maritime-themed museum suitable for visitors of different generations and backgrounds. The museum houses a rich collection of model ships, ranging from ancient dugout canoes built by early humans to various types of sailboats, mechanical vessels, and working boats developed in the West; it also features bamboo rafts that showcase the island culture of Taiwan, as well as king boats that hold religious significance. In addition, the museum exhibits numerous paintings with maritime backgrounds, spanning the 18th to 20th centuries, showcasing various oceanic scenes from war-torn battlefields to shimmering sails on the sea, each reflecting the unique styles of artists from different eras. Furthermore, the Evergreen Maritime Museum also includes a navigational exploration area, equipped with navigational instruments and multimedia interactive displays, allowing visitors to personally experience knowledge related to maritime navigation.
