Keelung River Riverside Bikeway Introduction

Entering the riverside bicycle path from the Lin An Tai evacuation gate on the left bank, visitors can see explanatory panels documenting the history and restoration stories of the Keelung River, allowing the public to learn about the long history of the river while enjoying exercise and leisure. Dajia Riverside Park is newly formed land created by filling the riverbed, surrounded by lush green grass. On the western side, there is the Chengdu Conference-style green park, with the most distinctive feature being the waterside park section between Zhongshan Bridge and Dazhi Bridge. The landmark "Fountain of Hope" features a fountain design that reaches 25 stories tall, with a spectacular water dance and bright, colorful neon lights at night, transforming the entire riverside area into a vibrant spectacle. With the backdrop of the classical and splendid red architecture of the Grand Hotel Taipei, the scenery is particularly beautiful and memorable, making it the best place for families, as well as couples on dates in the city. If visitors enter from the right bank at the Meiti evacuation gate, they can also see the embankment walls adorned with illustrations detailing the history of the Keelung River, equally dazzling. A night visit to the Keelung River offers views of the stunning Ferris wheel and the nightlife of the Neihu Technology Park.
