Taipei Children's Amusement Park Introduction
The Children's Amusement Park, built by the Taipei City Government, covers approximately 5 hectares and features amusement facilities, a free play area, and a children's theater overseen by the If Children Theater Company. On weekends, there are exciting free performances. The Children's Amusement Park is a family-friendly destination in the Taipei metropolitan area, with a total of 13 amusement facilities. In addition to brand new attractions like the Fruit Ferris Wheel, Happy Bumper Cars, Ocean Adventure (Musical Carriage), Little Flying Dragon (Dragon and Phoenix Boat), Cosmic Rotation (Gyro Chairs), Galaxy Express (Mini Train), and Spinning Teacups, the park has added 6 more exciting rides compared to the Children's Recreation Center (Amusement Park), including Roller Coaster, Flying Bus, Free Fall, Pirate Ship, Spinning Airplane, and Swirling Chairs. The Children's Amusement Park features four main highlights, including a payment method integrated with the EasyCard, which allows visitors to enter the park, ride attractions, and shop at certain stores using the card. The park has also introduced EasyCard charging machines for visitor convenience, making it easy to enjoy the amusement park with just one card. Additionally, the park has a food street, convenience stores, souvenir shops, and a total of 20 retail outlets. An indoor parking facility for motorcycles and cars and a diversified indoor parent-child play area (free play area, ball pit, and coin-operated games) have also been planned, ensuring that visitors can have fun at the Children's Amusement Park regardless of sunny or rainy weather. The northern side of the park borders Jihua Road and Shuangxi River, the eastern side borders Jihua Road and Meilun Park, and the southern side borders Shishang Road and the Science Education Center. In the future, visitors can take the MRT to Jiantan Station or Shilin Station and then transfer to a shuttle bus.
