Cai Dongxing is located on Huanhe West Road in Yonghe District and, like Zhou's Rice Cake, is one of the most popular rice cake stores in New Taipei City. What makes Cai Dongxing special is its exclusive focus on the production of rice cakes, particularly the "Ningbo Rice Cake," which is inherited from Zhejiang. It uses Penglai rice as the main ingredient, which is washed and then slowly ground with water to make rice batter. The result is a chewy texture and delicate mouthfeel, offering a unique creamy sensation.
