Cai Dongxing号 Introduction
Located on Huanhai West Road in Yonghe District, Cai Dongxing Hao, along with Zhou's Rice Cake, is one of the most popular rice cake shops in New Taipei City. What makes Cai Dongxing Hao special is its focus solely on the production of rice cakes, specifically the "Ningbo Rice Cake" which is inherited from Zhejiang Province. It uses Pongei rice as the primary ingredient, which is washed, soaked, and slowly ground into rice batter. The result is a chewy and delicate texture, offering a unique consistency that is truly distinct.
