Di Wang Shi Bu was founded by Zheng De in 1981 when he received a traditional recipe for health-boosting medicinal dishes from an acquaintance. With a grateful heart to share, he opened Taiwan's first ginger duck restaurant. The yellow lanterns and the enticing aromas of the dishes attracted customers in droves, creating a unique dining culture in Taiwan where people gather to enjoy good food together. Over the past 30 years, the restaurant has undergone numerous transformations, expanding its menu from the single offering of wine-infused ginger duck to a diverse range of seasonal nourishing hot pot dishes.
