Ruifang Station Introduction
In May 1919, the Yilan Line of the railway opened its section from Badou to Ruifang, and Ruifang officially established a train station. The station still serves as an important transfer hub for accessing Jinguashih (including Shuinandong, Jinguashih, and Jiufen), coastal fishing villages (Ruifang, Nanya, and Bitou Cape), and the picturesque Pingxi Line. After the 102nd year of the Republic of China, the long-awaited Shen'ao Branch Line will resume service at Platform 3, transforming again from a mining station to a tourist-focused station. Ruifang Station consistently ranks within the top thirty in Taiwan Railways, primarily revitalized through cultural and tourism development.
