Ruihe Bicycle Path Introduction
The Ruifang-Hokuto Bicycle Path is located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City. The starting point is from Ruifang Railway Station to Hokuto Railway Station. It is a bike path built along the banks of the Keelung River and beside the Yilan Line railway, with a total length of approximately 5 kilometers. One side is the railway, where trains can be seen speeding by from time to time, while the other side features the Keelung River, offering scenic views of mountains and water along the route. The path is flat and is considered an easy public route. The Ruifang-Hokuto cycling route passes through Section 3 of Ming Deng Road in Ruifang and runs closely alongside the double-tracks of the Yilan Line. During the journey, it crosses the Keelung River via the "Xin Gan Bridge," which is a scenic bridge exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists, with no motor vehicles allowed. The bridge is adorned with many images of miners pushing mining carts, and at night, it features dynamic LED lighting that changes colors.
