Ruihou Bicycle Path Introduction
The Ruifeng-Monkey Bicycle Path is located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City. The starting point is from Ruifang Railway Station to Houtong Station. It is a bicycle path constructed along the Keelung River and beside the Yilan Line railway, with a total length of about 5 kilometers. One side features the railway, where trains often speed by, while the other side showcases the Keelung River, offering scenic views of mountains and water. The route is flat and is considered an easy route for the public. The Ruifang-Monkey bicycle route travels through Section 3 of Mingdeng Road in Ruifang, closely adjacent to the double-tracked railway in Yilan. Along the way, it crosses the Keelung River via the "New Gan Bridge," which is a pedestrian and bicycle-only scenic bridge not open to motor vehicles. The bridge is decorated with many patterns of miners pushing carts and features colorful dynamic LED lights that change at night.
