Ruihou Bicycle Path Introduction
The Ruifang-Houkeng Bicycle Path is located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, running from Ruifang Railway Station to Houtsong Station. This bicycle path, approximately 5 kilometers long, is built alongside the Keelung River and the Yilan Line railway. One side features the railway, where trains can be seen speeding by, while the other side showcases the Keelung River, offering views of distant mountains and nearby waters. The path is flat and easy, making it suitable for casual cyclists. The Ruifang-Houkeng cycling route goes through Section 3 of Mingdeng Road in Ruifang, adjacent to the double-track rail of Yilan. Along the way, it crosses the Keelung River via the "New Gan Bridge," which is notable for being a scenic bridge dedicated to pedestrians and cyclists, not allowing motor vehicles. The bridge features many paintings of miners pushing mine carts and showcases dynamic LED lights that change colors at night.
