Ruihe Bicycle Path Introduction
The Ruifang-Monkey Pong Bicycle Path is located in the Ruifang District of New Taipei City. The route starts from Ruifang Railway Station to Hōkō Station, and is a bicycle path constructed along the banks of the Keelung River and beside the Yilan Line railway. It is approximately 5 kilometers long; one side features the railway, where trains can occasionally be seen speeding by, while the other side showcases the Keelung River, allowing for views of both distant mountains and nearby waters. The path is flat and belongs to an easy access route for the public. The Ruifang-Monkey Pong Bicycle Path runs through the third section of Ming-Deng Road in Ruifang, adjacent to the Yilan double-track railway. Along the way, it passes over the "Xin Gan Bridge," which is a scenic bridge exclusively for pedestrians and bicycles, not open to motor vehicles. The bridge is decorated with numerous patterns of miners pushing mine carts, and at night, it features a dynamic LED light display that changes colors.
