The fort is located at the boundary between Sijiaoting and Keelung, built during the Japanese colonial period, primarily as a military defense camp. Currently, only a few remnants of barracks and fortified bunkers remain, with the barracks mostly consisting of ruined brick walls, while the bunkers are made of stacked stones with their bases intertwined by tree roots. The New Taipei City Government has designated it as a New Taipei City Historic Site of third class.
