The fort is located at the border between Sijiaoting and Keelung, built during the Japanese occupation. It mainly served as a military defense area. Currently, only a few remnants of barracks and bunkers remain. The barracks mostly consist of crumbling brick walls, while the bunkers are constructed from stacked stones, with their bases entwined with tree roots. The New Taipei City Government has designated it as a third-level historic site in New Taipei City.
