Four Quarters Fort Introduction
The fortress is located at the junction of Sijiao Pavilion and Keelung, built during the Japanese colonial period. It mainly served as a military defense encampment. Currently, only a few remnants of barracks and bunkers remain, with the barracks mostly consisting of crumbling brick walls, while the bunkers are constructed from stacked stones, with tree roots entwining around the base. It has been officially designated as a third-level historic site by the New Taipei City Government.
