Sijiaotian Fort Introduction
The fortress is located at the border between Sijiaoting and Keelung, built during the Japanese colonial period. It served primarily as a military defense barracks. Currently, only a few remnants of the barracks and bunkers remain, with most of the barracks exhibiting crumbling brick walls. The bunkers are made of stacked stones, with tree roots entwined around the base. The New Taipei City Government has officially designated it as a Level 3 historical site.
