Sijiao Pavilion Fort Introduction
The fort is located at the junction of Sijiao Pavilion and Keelung, built during the Japanese occupation era. It primarily served as a military defense camp, and currently, only a few remnants of the barracks and bunkers remain. The barracks mostly consist of crumbling brick walls, while the bunkers are constructed from stacked stones, with their bases entwined by tree roots. The New Taipei City Government has designated it as a Class 3 historic site.
