Sijiao Pavilion Battery Introduction
The fort is located at the boundary between Sijiao Pavilion and Keelung, built during the Japanese colonial period. It primarily served as a military defense barracks. Currently, only a few remnants of the barracks and bunkers remain, with most of the barracks having crumbling brick walls. The bunkers are made of stacked stones, and their bases are entwined with tree roots. The New Taipei City Government has now designated it as a Category III historical site.
