The fort is located at the junction of Sijiao亭 and Keelung, built during the Japanese colonial period, mainly as a military defense camp. Currently, only a few remnants of barracks and bunkers remain, with the barracks mostly consisting of crumbling brick walls, and the bunkers made of stacked stones, with their bases intertwined by tree roots. The New Taipei City Government has officially designated it as a third-level historic site.
