The fortress is located at the junction of Siyakod and Keelung, built during the Japanese occupation era, primarily serving as a military defense camp. Currently, only a few ruins of barracks and bunkers remain, with the barracks mostly consisting of crumbling brick walls and the bunkers made of stacked stones, their bases entwined by tree roots. The New Taipei City Government has now designated it as a Level 3 historical site in New Taipei City.
