The original site of the Japanese prince's ruins, Tianyao Temple in Citong is now a significant place of worship dedicated to Mazu, commonly known as Citong Alley Mazu. It serves as the spiritual center of Citong City. During the Japanese occupation, the original temple was demolished by the Japanese, and a "Northern Shirakawa Palace Ruins Stele" was established on the original site to commemorate Prince Kitashirakawa Yoshihisa, who camped in Citong Alley during the military expedition to Taiwan in 1895.

During the Japanese colonial period, the original temple was demolished by the Japanese, and a "Northern Shirakawa Palace Monument" was erected at the site to commemorate Prince Kitashirakawa Yoshihisa, who camped in Citong Alley in 1895 during the military campaign in Taiwan.
