振興宮

Although the exterior of Zhengxing Temple appears plain and unremarkable, it is the site where the tablet of the martial arts ancestor of Qikang, Master A-Shan, is enshrined. Next to Zhengxing Temple is Zhengxing Society, which was the martial arts school founded by Master A-Shan in the past. From the initial archway to the cemetery of Master A-Shan behind the temple, one can see the historical connections between Qikang in Xiluo and the development of Xiluo itself. When mentioning Qikang martial arts in Xiluo, one cannot overlook Master A-Shan (Liu Mingshan). After arriving in Taiwan in 1828 (the eighth year of the Daoguang era), Master A-Shan settled in Xiluo. Being proficient in martial arts himself, he established a martial arts school to train disciples, leading to the flourishing of martial arts in Xiluo. The cemetery of Master A-Shan behind Zhengxing Temple was not originally his burial site but was relocated here by later generations.

Zhenxing Temple Introduction

Although the appearance of Zhenxing Temple seems simple and unremarkable, it is the shrine for the tablet of the ancestor of Qikan martial arts—Master A Shan. Next to Zhenxing Temple is the Zhenxing Society, which is the martial arts hall founded by Master A Shan in the past. From the entrance archway to the cemetery of Master A Shan behind the temple, one can observe the historical connections between Qikan in Xiluo and the development of Xiluo itself. When discussing Qikan martial arts, one cannot overlook Master A Shan (Liu Ming Shan). After arriving in Taiwan in 1828 (the 8th year of the Daoguang era), he settled in Xiluo. Being skilled in martial arts himself, he established a martial arts hall to train disciples, which led to a thriving martial arts culture in Xiluo. The cemetery of Master A Shan behind Zhenxing Temple was not his original burial site, but was relocated here by later generations.
