Wanjitii Wetland Park Introduction
Wanzai Wetland Park, located in the Xinzhung district's sub-central area, is the only park in Xinzhung that integrates water features, ecology, recreation, and flood retention functions. The name "Wanzai" comes from its historical origins as a marshland in the drainage basin of the Zhonggang River. Thanks to the efforts of the Xinzhung Community University Wetland Service Team, the ecological restoration of the Wanzai Wetland has gradually shown results! They have designated a section of the wetland as a water flow area, mimicking natural stream channels and planting aquatic plants. Additionally, they constructed the nation's first artificial floating island to enhance water purification and provide a good habitat for wildlife.
