Shihfen Tourist Cultural Park Introduction
The Shihfen Tourist Cultural Park is themed "11 GIFTS FOR WORLD" as a gift from Taoyuan to the world. Based on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, it explores the historical context of local development in Shimen and Jia'an, as well as the tourism culture and natural environment. In addition, it utilizes the power of local revitalization and place-based design to restart local connections with the strategy of "creating mutual benefits and integrating with the local community." The park connects businesses, local farmers, artisans, and youth through horizontal collaboration while providing design aesthetic consulting and cultural creative incubation spaces. It also vertically integrates various stakeholders to establish a communication platform among government, civil society, and professionals. Continuously cultivating local resources and integrating multiple supports are essential to realizing the vision of mutual benefits for the community, truly promoting the development of local culture and tourism for "sustainable nature and happy living."
