Shihfen Tourist Cultural Park Introduction
The Shihfen Tourist and Cultural Park is themed "11 GIFTS FOR THE WORLD FROM TAOYUAN," based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. It explores the historical context of local development in Shimen and Jiaan, as well as tourism culture and the natural environment. The park utilizes the power of local creation and site-specific design, employing a strategy of "creating mutual benefits and integrating with the local community" to restart local connections. Through various spatial qualities, the park horizontally connects businesses, local farmers, artisans, and youth, providing design aesthetic consulting and a cultural and creative incubation space; it also vertically integrates all parties to establish a communication platform among government, civil society, and professionals.
