Old Earth Art Studio Introduction
The Old Soil Art Studio is led by Professor Lee Ming-Song, focusing primarily on the creation of lifestyle pottery. The basic creative techniques employed are wheel throwing and hand-building. The products feature elements drawn from the surrounding nature and culture. Professor Lee hopes that the spirit of Old Soil Art is to integrate art into daily life and to elevate daily life into art. He also aspires to dedicate himself to the inheritance of the ancient "old" and long-standing "soil" art of pottery, thus giving the studio its name.
