The Old Soil Art Studio is led by Professor Li Mingsong, with a focus on creating functional pottery. The primary techniques used are wheel throwing and hand modeling. The products are inspired by the natural and cultural elements surrounding everyday life. Professor Li hopes to embody the spirit of Old Soil Art by integrating art into daily life and everyday life into art. He also aspires to dedicate himself to the transmission of this ancient "old" ceramic art of "soil," hence the name.
