Shenkeng Buddha Worshipping King of the Streams signifies the protection of river ecosystems. The Daji Temple in Shenkeng, located in Erlun, enshrines Guanyin Bodhisattva. The deity's incense offerings come from Chongxian Temple at the water bank in Lunbei. Every year on the Lantern Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month, residents of Shenkeng perform rituals to seek auspiciousness for farming. In the middle of the seventh lunar month, a ceremony for Worshipping the King of the Streams is held.

Shenkeng Buddha Worship and River King Ceremony conveys the meaning of river ecosystem protection. The Dailun Shenkengzi Guanyin Temple main deity is Guanyin Bodhisattva, with incense offerings coming from Chongxian Temple at the waterway head of Lunbei. Every year on the 15th day of the first lunar month, Shenkeng residents perform a ritual to ask for agricultural fortune.
