Er Lun Shen Keng Zi Guanyin Temple Introduction
The Shenkeng Buddha Worshipping of the River King conveys the meaning of river ecosystem protection. The Guan Yin Buddha Temple located in Shenkengzi, Dounan is dedicated to Guanyin. The deity's incense comes from the Chongxian Temple at the waterway head of Lunbei. Every year on the 15th day of the first lunar month, the residents of Shenkeng carry out a rice basket replenishing ritual to inquire about agricultural fortune.
