Chiang Kai-shek Seven Seas Cultural Park Introduction

The Chiang Kai-shek Cultural Park covers an area of 3.98 hectares, with a building base of approximately 2,000 ping. The park preserves large areas of green landscaping, public art, and waterfront walking paths, with architectural design harmonizing with the natural environment to meet the standards of a diamond-rated green building. The core of the park consists of the Qihai Villa heritage site and the library of President Chiang Ching-kuo, supplemented by a visitor center. The park integrates the beautiful scenery of Qihai Pond and Jiantan Mountain, along with a lakeside walking path, creating an overall cultural park. Our operations are planned on the principle of honoring Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo, revitalizing the heritage site, and extending the historical vitality, hoping to become a new destination for cultural tourism in Taipei and a new cultural landmark rich in historical significance. The Qihai Villa served as the living space for Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo and his wife, with simple interior furnishings reflecting Mr. Chiang's unpretentious and approachable character. The villa also features a visitor waiting area that displays significant events in the villa's history, artifacts, a guided tour of the villa's surroundings, and an introduction to the villa's architecture and ecology. The first exhibition hall, themed "The Promoter of Modernization in Taiwan," introduces Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo's life and family life, showcasing his personality, significant achievements, and life experiences. The second exhibition hall, themed "Reflections on the Passage of Time," guides visitors back to Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo's era, through his diaries, perspectives from his aides and colleagues, and his paintings and calligraphy, allowing visitors to understand different aspects of Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo.
