Yongjing Station │ A Blend of Old and New Fun Introduction
The station features rain eaves with the patina of time, and the lovely murals on the surrounding walls bring a vibrant touch to the view. Standing on the pedestrian bridge at the station, one can gaze along the railway and enjoy the distant view of the Changhua Mountain Range and plain, complemented by the charming, unpretentious old streets nearby. Yusan Hall │
The name Yusan Hall signifies the blessing for future generations, meaning "abundance, longevity, and many descendants." It is an ancestral house of the Chen family built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. As the family grew in size, they collectively expanded the old residence. The architecture blends features from Min and Cantonese styles, and the pigments used for the interior paintings are derived from mineral materials from China. The themes of the paintings are unique and rare, making it one of Taiwan's representative ancient houses.
Yongjing Story Wall│In 2015, local painter Jiang Hongming created murals on the abandoned wall on Yong'an Street, reminiscing about Yongjing's past prosperity. The warmth of alleys and street visits was portrayed on the wall, recreating the scenes of yesteryear, allowing visitors to experience the charm of old streets.
