MAJI Food and Fun _ Yuanshan Floral Expo Pavilion Introduction
MAJI2 is located near the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, nestled in a corner of the Taipei Expo Park's Yuanshan area, and officially opened in June 2013. It has been carefully planned by singer Harlem Yu and renowned designer Yeh Yu-ching, utilizing shipping containers and wooden barns in a natural setting to cleverly encapsulate elements of food, original products, music, and art, creating an exotic atmosphere of a urban amusement park. MAJI2 consists of six main areas: Shennong Market, Global Snack Street, Creative Market, International Cuisine Restaurants, Specialty Shopping Street, and a Multi-functional Exhibition Space. The **Shennong Market** is a place for food lovers and cooking enthusiasts, gathering delicious, safe, natural, and non-toxic ingredients from various small farmers across the country. It features many products awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture and high-quality small brand sauces that are hard to find in regular supermarkets, as well as traditional ingredients from the Nanmen Market and ready-to-eat dishes catering to Chinese tastes, allowing customers to take them home. The **Global Snack Street** features a unique dining space with shipping containers arranged and paired with retro tables and chairs, offering a variety of Taiwanese snacks and international cuisines. The **Creative Market** showcases handcrafted leather bags, original clothing, unique accessories, and various lifestyle design items, providing endless surprises for visitors.
