Bangka Old Street (Taipei's First Street) Introduction

The narrow definition of Monga Old Street refers to the area around Guiyang Street in front of Qingshan Temple, which was formerly known as "Sweet Potato Market Street." It is called the first street of Taipei and is the oldest street in Taipei City, as well as the starting point of Monga's prosperity. To this day, it still retains some red-brick architectural features from the Qing Dynasty and the Japanese colonial period.
