Taipei Film Park Introduction
The Taipei Film Theme Park is located at the bottom of Wuchang Street pedestrian zone, serving as a rare large open space in the bustling Ximending area. Managed by the Taipei Cultural Foundation for over a decade, it continues to provide a platform and space for artistic creation and a voice for youth street culture. In addition to offering a recreational area based on the largest park green space in Ximending, it also offers courses for cultural promotion and guidance, including graffiti, street dance, and skateboarding, providing a stage for aspiring creators to express themselves and promoting vibrant youth culture for wider public participation. The Film Theme Park also accepts general private event rentals and connects local communities with regional activities to invigorate local arts and cultural development as well as the local business economy. It is expected that as pandemic policies gradually ease, the park will again assist the Ximending area’s cultural environment in flourishing and creating the next cultural disturbance.
