Taipei Film Park Introduction
Taipei Film-themed Park is located at the bottom of Wuchang Street pedestrian street, one of the few spacious open areas in the bustling Ximending area. Managed by the Taipei Cultural Foundation for over a decade, it continues to provide a platform and space for artistic creation and as a voice for youth street culture. In addition to offering a recreational area based on the largest green space in Ximending, the park also continuously launches cultural promotion and guidance programs for graffiti, street dance, skateboarding, and other activities, providing a stage for aspiring creators to express themselves and promoting vibrant youth culture for more citizens to participate. The Film-themed Park also accepts rentals for general community activities and connects with local communities and regional events, aiming to invigorate local arts and culture and develop the local business economy. It is hoped that as pandemic prevention policies gradually ease, it can again assist in the co-prosperity of the artistic environment in the Ximending area and create the next cultural disturbance.
