Changhong Bridge Introduction
The elegant arch of the Changhong Bridge spans across the mouth of the Xiuguluan River, creating a beautiful rainbow reflection at the intersection of mountains and sea, and has become a famous photography landmark on the East Coast. This place also serves as the endpoint for rafting, where tired yet satisfied rafts dock here. Strolling along the riverside path, water birds gracefully forage along the riverbed, and bicycles come and go as the plants on both sides change with the seasons. If you're tired, you might want to take a break at the nearby New Pacific No. 1 store to enjoy a cup of afternoon tea and spend leisurely time. Off the mouth of the river lies Xibulan Island, also known as Lion Ball Islet, a lush green small island that is a sacred place for the local Amis people and is made up of volcanic block rock. Due to the river's barrier, it retains a relatively natural ecological appearance, making it a great spot for ecological observation with birds, migratory fish, and shrimp and crabs gathering here.
