Moonlight Pavilion Introduction
Yueliang Pavilion is located at the foothills of Dulan Mountain. It is a charming little house filled with the aroma of coffee and an artistic atmosphere. It became a popular recreation spot due to the film "Under the Moonlight, I Remember" directed by Lin Cheng-sheng in 2003. The second floor still retains the filming scenes from that time, while the first floor is currently managed by the local cultural and artistic group "Nüyao Talking Painting," serving as a performance space for artists. They regularly hold dynamic and static cultural and artistic events, attracting many tourists to stop by and experience the diverse and vibrant artistic culture of the East Coast. Yueliang Pavilion was originally the administrative center of Dulan Forest Farm and the Recreational Education Center for public educators. Along the winding mountain paths leading there, visitors can see various landscapes such as farmland, mountains, and bays. The irregular stone pavement that unfolds throughout the fields evokes the origins of the name "Dulan - Atolan" and makes one reminisce about the scene of the ancestors of the Amis tribe cultivating the land several hundred years ago, resulting in the terraced beauty of Dulan along the Coastal Mountain Range. On the other side of the Yueliang Pavilion, there is "Yueliang Coffee House," which features a uniquely designed streamlined bar made from driftwood, adorned with beautiful tree bark lamps and stained glass, making Yueliang Pavilion quite enchanting. In addition to offering a variety of coffees, beverages, and handmade snacks, "Yueliang Coffee House" also sells many handcrafted items from local artists, as well as unique foreign products such as music, books, accessories, and clothing brought back by the owners from their travels. While visiting Yueliang Pavilion to admire the magnificent view of Dulan Bay, don't forget to order a fragrant drink at the coffee house, gaze towards the vast Pacific Ocean, and feel the unique slow-paced charm of Dulan in the refreshing sea breeze. Directions: Along Taiwan Route 11 in Dulan Village, after seeing the Dulan Ruins sign at kilometer 146.5, turn towards the mountain direction. Follow the signs passing the "Stone Coffin Area" and "Stone Wall Area," and after a 3-5 minute walk, you will arrive.
