The Dashih Scenic Area features a coastline characterized by a continuous stretch of columnar basalt cliffs, connected by a small cape that extends into the sea to the east, creating a dynamic coastal landscape. The unique shapes and tones contrast with the surrounding white foamy waves, enhancing its majestic presence. The formations resemble a stone lion crouching on the cliff, gazing out over the vast ocean amidst the powerful waves and misty skies, hence the name "Dashih."
