Yue Li Bay Recreational Area Introduction

The crescent-shaped Moonfish Bay is a natural cove and was the first port for fishermen near the coast of Qimei Island. Currently, only a small area on the south side has been developed into a simple "Moon Port." The beach of Moonfish Bay, with its white coral fragments, is not only the only swimming area in Qimei but also has waters that are extremely suitable for snorkeling activities. The nearby basalt terrain is highly developed, featuring columnar basalt in axial, radial, and interlaced formations, which are impressive and diverse; coastal erosion formations can be seen everywhere. Recommended activities include stargazing at night, evening barbecues, and afternoon snorkeling to admire the stunning coral—these are the three main activities in the Moonfish swimming area, complemented by nearby camping pavilions and well-maintained shower and toilet facilities, making it the best camping area in Qimei.
