Dashi Scenic Area Introduction
The Dashi Scenic Area features a coastline adorned with continuous columns of basalt cliffs, connecting to a small cape that extends eastward into the sea, creating a picturesque and dynamic coastal landscape. The unique shapes and colors contrast strikingly with the surrounding white foamy waves, enhancing the grandeur of the scenery. The formation resembles a stone lion crouching on the cliff, gazing at the vast ocean amid the vigorous waves and misty sky, which is how it got its name "Dashi" (Big Lion).
