Dashi Scenic Area Introduction
The coastline of the Dashi Scenic Area features a continuous stretch of columnar basalt cliffs, connecting to a small cape that extends into the ocean. This coastal landscape displays a dramatic atmosphere. The unique shapes and colors of the formations contrast strikingly with the surrounding white waves, adding to their grandeur. The formations resemble a stone lion crouching on the cliff, gazing at the boundless ocean amidst the vigorous sea and misty sky, from which the name "Dashi" is derived.
