Nanyucheng Introduction
Nanyucheng (South Island Fort) was an early defensive structure in Qimei designed to fend off foreign invasions. On the inner side of the arched basalt gate, there is a stone tablet inscribed with "Record of the Restoration of Nanyucheng." The fort is entirely built from basalt, showcasing a square and grand layout. The arched city gate reveals a touch of ancient charm, and in the evening, the sunset casts a soft glow, creating a uniquely romantic atmosphere.
