Little Taiwan is located to the northeast of Qimei Island in Penghu County. By traveling north along the coastal road from Nioumping, you'll pass a sloped section where you can see a viewing pavilion. Standing on the pavilion, you can admire the results of years of erosion from the sea waves, which have formed an erosion platform resembling Little Taiwan. This spot is called Qimei Little Taiwan. There are also rocks resembling Guishan Island in the same location, which become more pronounced when the tide is low.

Little Taiwan Introduction

Little Taiwan is located to the northeast of Qimei Island in Penghu County. By following the coastal road north from Niupuming, visitors will pass a sloped section where a viewing pavilion can be seen. Standing on the pavilion offers a view of the results of years of wave erosion, which has formed a marine erosion platform that resembles Little Taiwan, hence the name Qimei Little Taiwan. There are also rocks resembling Guishan Island in the same area, which become even more pronounced when the tide is low.

Transportation Methods：1. Little Taiwan is located in Qimei Township, and you can choose to fly or take a ferry to Qimei Township. After arriving, you can either ride a scooter or take a tour bus. From Nanhu Port, follow County Road 43 along the coast, passing through the Yueley Bay Recreation Area, and you will reach Little Taiwan. 2. If you choose to take a ferry, you need to take the Transportation Vessel from Nanhai Yacht Harbor in the city or a private speedboat (operating only during peak season) to get there. The ferry ride takes about 70 minutes (the transportation vessel takes 2 hours). 3. If you choose to fly, Daily flights are available from Daily Airways between Makung, Qimei, and Kaohsiung.
