Little Taiwan is located northeast of Qimei Island in Penghu County. By following the coastal highway north from Niupuping, you will come across a scenic pavilion on a sloped section of the road. Standing in the pavilion, you can admire the results of years of erosion from the waves, which has formed a sea erosion platform resembling Little Taiwan, hence the name Qimei Little Taiwan. Additionally, there are rocks that resemble Guishan Island in the same area, which become more pronounced during low tide.

Little Taiwan Introduction

Little Taiwan is located to the northeast of Qimei Island in Penghu County. By taking the Coastal Highway north from Nioumu Hill, you will pass a sloped section where there is a viewing pavilion. Standing in the pavilion, you can observe the results of years of wave erosion, which has formed an erosional platform resembling Little Taiwan, hence its name. In the same location, there are also rocks that resemble Guishan Island, which become even more pronounced during low tide.

Transportation Methods：1. Little Taiwan is located in Qimei Township. You can choose to fly or take a ferry to Qimei Township, and then rent a scooter or take a tour bus to reach Little Taiwan. From Nanhuh Port, take Provincial Highway 43, passing by the Yue Li Bay Recreation Area, and follow the coastal road north to reach Little Taiwan. 2. If you choose to take a ferry, you need to take a transportation vessel from the Nanhai Yacht Harbor in the city district or a private speedboat (operates only during peak season) to reach there. The ferry ride takes about 70 minutes (the transportation vessel takes about 2 hours). 3. If you choose to fly, Daily Air operates flights between Magong, Qimei, and Kaohsiung.
