Qinglong Mountain Trail Introduction
The Qinglong Mountain Range and Lalu Island, which symbolizes the Dragon Pearl, are filled with many legendary stories. The starting point of the trail is at the Xuanguang Temple Pier, and the endpoint is at the Cien Pagoda. The path generally rises gently along the ridgeline, offering beautiful and picturesque views. The square in front of Xuanguang Temple has excellent visibility, with views of Lalu Island, the Hanbi Peninsula, and the Shui She Village landscape all in sight. Along the trail, there are moss sculptures designed utilizing the high temperature and humidity characteristics of Sun Moon Lake, such as the mountain gate, small novice monk, sutras, and Heart Sutra planting trays.
