Qinglong Mountain Trail Introduction
The Qinglong Mountain Range and Lalu Island, which symbolizes the Dragon Pearl, are rich in legend and stories. The trail starts at the Xuanguang Temple Pier and ends at the Ci'en Pagoda, gradually ascending along the ridgeline with stunning scenery. The square in front of Xuanguang Temple offers excellent views, with Lalu Island, Hanbi Peninsula, and the Shuishe settlement all in sight. Along the trail, there are moss sculptures designed to reflect the hot and humid characteristics of Sun Moon Lake, such as the Mountain Gate, Little Novice, Sutra, and Heart Sutra planting dish.
