Qinglong Mountain Trail Introduction
The Qinglong Mountain Range and Lalu Island, which symbolizes the dragon pearl, are rich in legendary stories. The trail starts at the Xuanguang Temple Pier and ends at the Ci'en Pagoda, generally following the ridge and ascending gradually, offering beautiful and picturesque scenery. The square in front of Xuanguang Temple provides an excellent view, with Lalu Island, Hanbi Peninsula, and the landscape of Shuishe Village all in sight. Along the trail, there are moss sculptures designed to utilize the hot and humid characteristics of Sun Moon Lake, such as the Mountain Gate, Little Shami, scriptures, and Heart Sutra plant discs.
