Qinglong Mountain Trail Introduction
The Qinglong Mountain Range and Lalu Island, symbolizing the dragon pearl, are steeped in many legends and stories. The trail starts at the Xuanguang Temple Pier and ends at the Cien Pagoda, gradually ascending along the ridge with beautiful and picturesque scenery. The square in front of Xuanguang Temple offers excellent views, with Lalu Island, the Hanbi Peninsula, and the Shuishe settlement all in sight. Along the trail, there are moss sculptures designed to utilize the high temperature and humidity characteristics of Sun Moon Lake, such as the mountain gate, small novice monks, scriptures, and Heart Sutra planting plates.
