Qinglongshan Trail Introduction
The Qinglong Mountain Range and Lalu Island, symbolizing the Dragon Pearl, are filled with many legendary stories. The trail starts at the Xuangong Temple Pier and ends at the Cien Pagoda, generally ascending along the ridge with beautiful scenery. The square in front of the Xuangong Temple offers an excellent view, showcasing Lalu Island, the Hanbi Peninsula, and the Shuishe Settlement. Along the trail, there are moss sculptures designed to utilize the high temperature and humidity characteristics of Sun Moon Lake, such as: the Mountain Gate, Little Novice, scriptures, and Heart Sutra planting plates.
