Hsuanguang Wharf is the starting point of the 850-meter Qingshan Mountain Trail. Ascending via the stairs, visitors will first reach Hsuanguang Temple, and by continuing to climb, they can access Xuanzang Temple. Many devout followers take boats to Hsuanguang Wharf to pay their respects at the two temples, akin to a religious pilgrimage, hence the nickname "Pilgrim's Trail."
