Sun Moon Lake Totti Trail Introduction

Tutengzi was once the site of the Shiau people's stone print society, and now it serves as the ancestral spirit worship location for the Shih clan. The trail is thus themed around the Shiau people's auspicious symbol - the owl. After traveling four kilometers south from Sun Moon Village, you will arrive at a pavilion located at the intersection of Shaba Mountain and Qiatonglun, where the entrance featuring a standing owl statue can be found. Through the elevated wooden walkway, the existing terrain and vegetation are preserved, and various informative signs are set up along the way to provide explanations about Shiau culture. At the end of the trail, an observation tower is established, offering panoramic views of the mountains and waters to the south, north, and west.
