Sun Moon Lake Tsu Tsing Walking Trail Introduction
Tutingzi was once the site of the Shau Tribe's Stone Printing Society and is now a location for ancestral worship of the Shi clan. The walking trail is designed with the owl, the auspicious symbol of the Shau Tribe. After heading south from Sun Moon Village for four kilometers, visitors will arrive at a pavilion marking the junction of Shabashan and Qidonglun, where the entrance featuring a statue of an owl can be found. Elevated wooden walkways have been constructed to protect the existing terrain and vegetation, with numerous informational signs along the route providing explanations about Shau Tribe culture. At the end of the trail, there is an observation tower offering views of mountains and waters to the south, north, and west.
