Sun Moon Lake Tsu Hsiang Trail Introduction

Tutengzi was once the site of the Shung Ye Stone Printing Society of the Tsou people, and it is now a place for the worship of the ancestors of the Shih clan. The trail is therefore themed around the Tsou people's auspicious symbol - the owl. Heading south from Sun Moon Village for four kilometers, you will arrive at a pavilion, located at the junction of Shaba Mountain and Qiaodonglun, which marks the entrance with an owl statue. The elevated wooden plank path is built to protect the existing terrain and vegetation, along with many informational signs providing explanations about Tsou culture. At the end of the trail, there is an observation tower that offers views of the distant mountains and water to the south, north, and west.
