Zhengde Buddha Introduction
The Zhengde Puli Giant Buddha Mountain is the tallest outdoor gilded Amitabha Buddha in the world, weighing 1,230 tons, with a height of 170 feet and an area of 240 ping. The Buddha body is made of 320 tons of bronze and 910 tons of steel, consisting of 808 bronze plates and 396 hair spirals. It is located in the scenic and pleasant climate of the Puli mountain area, where the peaks overlap densely. The entire construction was personally planned and designed by the founding master, Cheng Lyu, and the architecture follows a Japanese style, characterized by its simplicity and elegance. In addition, the surrounding facilities of the Giant Buddha will serve various educational and spiritual functions, attracting more people to approach Buddhism and find peace of mind and body.
