Zhengde Buddha Introduction
The Zhengde Puli Big Buddha Mountain is the tallest outdoor golden Amitabha Buddha in the world, weighing 1,230 tons, standing at 170 feet, and covering an area of 240 pings. The Buddha statue itself weighs 320 tons and is made of 808 bronze plates, with 396 curls in the hair. It is located in the Puli mountain area, which features pleasant scenery and mild climate. The entire structure was personally planned and designed by the founding master, Chan Lu Fa Shi, and all buildings are in a Japanese architectural style, exuding a rustic elegance. Additionally, the surrounding facilities will serve diverse educational purposes, drawing more people closer to Buddhism and providing peace for body and mind.
