Zhengde Buddha Introduction
The Zhengde Puli Large Buddha Mountain is the tallest outdoor gilded Amitabha Buddha in the world, weighing a total of 1,230 tons, with a height of 170 feet and an area of 240 square meters. The Buddha statue itself is made of 320 tons of bronze, with a steel frame weighing 910 tons, and is composed of 808 bronze plates, adorned with 396 spiral hair locks. It is located in the Puli mountainous area, which features a pleasant climate and lush, overlapping peaks. The entire architecture was personally planned and designed by the founder, Master Chang Lu, and adopts a traditional Japanese architectural style that is simple yet elegant. In addition, the surrounding facilities are well-equipped to serve various educational functions, helping more people approach Buddhism and find peace of mind and body.
