Shuili Township Farmers Association Zhenmei Pavilion Introduction

Checheng Village in Shui-li Township is the terminus of the Jiji Line, and it still retains large old factory buildings of Zhenchang Wood Industry, a large wood storage pool, employee dormitory area, the village of Checheng, and the Shui-li River Valley. During the Japanese occupation and the early post-war period, Checheng was once a dream destination for many young people, bustling with merchants and prosperity, which is why Shui-li is often referred to as "Little Taipei." The Jiji Branch Line is the traffic artery of this area. The "Shui-li Real Plum Museum" is located next to the Checheng Train Station and was originally an old railway warehouse. After being renovated with cypress wood by the Management Office of the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, it was leased and planned by the Shui-li Township Farmers' Association as a local agricultural product showcase center. The main focus is on plum-related products and souvenirs developed by the Shui-li Township Farmers' Association over the years, as well as specialty products that integrate the cultural heritage of the Shui-li snake kiln. Many of these products have won the Top 100 Outstanding Products Award from the Agriculture and Fisheries Association, making them unique and suitable for collection and sharing. Specialty products include: Plum Essence, Enjoy Plum Vinegar, Plum Soy Sauce, Plum Oil Paste, Mochi Plums, and Fragrant Plums. Introduction of Fragrant Plums: Traditional handmade plums with absolutely no added preservatives, designed in collaboration with the Shui-li snake kiln. This represents a product that combines color, fragrance, and taste in Shui-li Township plum foods, making it a timeless masterpiece favored by scholars and connoisseurs alike.
