Lishan Visitor Center Introduction
The Lishan Visitor Center, located directly opposite the Lishan Viewing Platform, was originally the “Qingxin Pavilion” of the Lishan Hotel, serving as a beverage and souvenir shop. It features a Chinese-style architecture with red tiles, harmoniously contrasting against the blue sky and white clouds. Now transformed into a visitor center, a statue of an Atayal girl with outstretched arms welcomes travelers at the entrance. The Lishan Visitor Center offers a variety of services such as travel information, cultural experiences, and basic medical assistance. Among its attractions is the Wisteria Garden, where visitors can walk through an area decorated with hanging wisteria, collect exclusive travel stamps related to Lishan, and experience traditional Atayal clothing for unforgettable photo opportunities. The crafts exhibition area showcases handmade items created by local Atayal cultural creators, featuring not only exquisite totem bracelets but also woven bags and other crafts. The exhibition area provides guidance for visitors to understand Lishan’s natural scenery and cultural characteristics, highlighting the seasonal changes of Lishan, the Jesus Church, and the Lishan Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall. Additionally, there are maps of famous attractions in the Lishan community for precise trip planning, along with multilingual travel brochures in Chinese, English, and Japanese available for visitors. For any immediate travel questions regarding transportation or flower conditions, friendly staff are available to assist. The Lishan Visitor Center also periodically hosts events, including photo opportunities and checkpoint challenges, allowing visitors to create wonderful memories and receive unique Lishan souvenirs.
