Li Shan Visitor Center Introduction
The Lishan Visitor Center, directly facing the Lishan Viewing Platform, was originally the "Qingxin Pavilion" of the Lishan Hotel, serving as a beverage and souvenir shop. It is also a red-tiled traditional Chinese-style building that beautifully complements the blue sky and white clouds. Now transformed into a visitor center, a statue of a Tayal girl with outstretched arms running towards travelers greets visitors at the entrance. The center offers a variety of services including tourist information, cultural experiences, and basic medical assistance. One of the most notable features is the wisteria garden, where visitors can walk into a space embellished with hanging wisteria. Here, they can collect exclusive travel stamps related to Lishan and experience traditional Tayal clothing to capture unforgettable commemorative photos. The crafts display area showcases handmade crafts created by local Tayal cultural creators, featuring exquisite totem bracelets and woven bags among other items. The area provides real-time inquiries about flower conditions and road conditions, ensuring a safe visit to Lishan. The display area guides visitors to understand the natural scenery and cultural characteristics of the Lishan area, including the seasonal changes in Lishan's landscape, the Jesus Hall, and the Lishan Cultural Relics Museum. A map of famous attractions in the Lishan community allows for precise itinerary planning, and multilingual travel brochures in Chinese, English, and Japanese are available.
