Lishan Visitor Center Introduction
The Lishan Visitor Center, located directly opposite the Lishan Viewing Platform, was originally the "Qingxin Pavilion" of the Lishan Hotel and served as a beverage and souvenir shop. It is a red-tiled Chinese-style building, harmonizing beautifully with the blue sky and white clouds. Now transformed into a visitor center, a statue of an Atayal girl with open arms running at the entrance welcomes travelers. The Lishan Visitor Center currently offers diverse services including travel information, Atayal costume experiences, and basic medical assistance. One of the most eye-catching features is the Wisteria Garden, where visitors can step into an area adorned with hanging wisteria. Here, they can collect exclusive travel stamps related to Lishan and experience traditional Atayal attire, capturing unforgettable photos. The craft display area features handmade products created by local Atayal artisans, including exquisite totem bracelets and various woven items such as bags. The visitor center also provides real-time information about flower blooms and road conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience in Lishan. Within the exhibition area, visitors can learn about the natural scenery and cultural characteristics of the Lishan area, showcasing the seasonal changes, the Jesus Chapel, and the Lishan Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall. There are maps of the famous attractions in the Lishan community for precise itinerary planning, along with multilingual travel brochures available in Chinese, English, and Japanese. For any immediate travel inquiries such as transportation conditions or flower status, the friendly staff is available to assist. The Lishan Visitor Center will also hold various events periodically, where participants can engage in photo opportunities and challenges, not only taking home wonderful memories but also unique Lishan souvenirs.
