Helicopter Trail Introduction
The Hilik Trail connects the Lishan Villa and the Lan Sheng Building, with a total length of 600 meters. It is constructed using environmentally friendly methods that do not disrupt the natural ecosystem, making it an easy access hiking trail to get close to the natural environment of Lishan. "Hilik" means the divination spirit bird - the Chinese bush warbler in Atayal language. While walking along the forest path, visitors can observe a wide variety of birds, insects, butterflies, and an abundance of plant life, showcasing the rich ecological diversity and natural charm of this forest trail. Another highlight of the Hilik Trail is the two suspension bridges along the way, allowing only one person to cross at a time, adding a thrill to the hiking experience. Along the trail, visitors can also see Atayal archaeological stone piles and many colorful paintings themed around Atayal culture, experiencing the rich tribal atmosphere while walking. Upon reaching the Warrior Camp along the trail, one can continue to the Lan Sheng Building, where they can enjoy panoramic views of the Dali Mountain area and the Dajia River. In the evening, visitors can also admire the sunset and twilight, making the beautiful scenery unforgettable.
