Fengbo Plaza Introduction
Changhua Ershui Fengbai Square's entrance features a parking lot, restrooms, a stage, and recreational facilities for children, along with stone tables for resting. The surrounding area is ecologically rich, near multiple trails such as Miao Qian Keng Trail, Keng Nei Keng Trail, and the popular Ershui Temple Climbing Trail, where common birds, butterflies, and wild macaques can be seen. It's a great place for families to observe nature together. There are numerous signs reminding the public not to feed wildlife, as feeding can cause monkeys to lose their foraging ability and lead to aggressive behavior. To maintain the natural environment and the monkeys' original lifestyle, visitors should follow the three principles of conservation: "Do not feed, do not touch, and do not disturb." Keeping a safe distance to observe the macaques is a form of protection for both parties. For a leisurely hike in Ershui, it's recommended to park at Fengbai Square and walk along the Temple Climbing Trail to visit Shoutian Temple. This route allows visitors to experience the history of Pice (highlanders) carrying their agricultural produce, reflecting the hard work in the trade of Changhua Ershui Township. The Temple Climbing Trail is approximately 2.1 kilometers long, consisting of paved roads and steps, generally flat until the last section with steep stone steps leading to Shoutian Temple nearby. After visiting the temple, one can also stroll through the century-old Tea Street and enjoy the charm of Songbai Changqing Tea.
