Fengbo Plaza Introduction
The entrance of Fengbai Square in Ershui, Changhua, features a parking lot, restrooms, a stage, and children's recreational facilities, as well as stone tables for resting. The surrounding area is rich in ecology and is close to several trails such as the Miao Qian Keng Trail, Keng Nei Keng Trail, and the popular Ershui Temple Climbing Trail. Commonly seen wildlife includes birds, butterflies, and wild macaques, making it a great place for a family outing focused on ecological observation. There are reminders throughout Fengbai Square urging the public not to feed wild animals. Feeding not only causes the macaques to lose their foraging abilities but also leads to aggressive behavior. To maintain the natural environment and the original lifestyle of the monkey population, visitors should adhere to the three conservation principles: "No feeding, No contact, No disturbance." Keeping a proper distance to watch the macaques is a form of protection for both parties. For a relaxed hike in Ershui, it is recommended to park at Fengbai Square and walk the Temple Climbing Trail to the Shoutian Temple. Visitors can also experience the historical agricultural efforts, as farmers used to carry their products back and forth to Changhua Ershui Township. The Temple Climbing Trail is approximately 2.1 kilometers long, consisting of asphalt paths and steps, mostly gentle until the steep steps of Mo Ru Alley near the end, where Shoutian Temple is not far away. After visiting the temple, one can also stroll through the century-old tea street to appreciate the charm of Songbai Changqing tea.
