Fengbo Plaza Introduction
The entrance to Fengbai Square in Ershui, Changhua, features parking, restrooms, a stage, and children's recreational facilities, along with stone tables for resting. The surrounding area is rich in ecology and is close to several trails, such as the Miaoquan Ping Trail, Keng Neikeng Trail, and the popular Ershui Temple Trail, where common birds, butterflies, and wild macaques may be seen. It is a suitable location for family outings and ecological observation trips. There are reminders throughout Fengbai Square urging visitors not to feed the wildlife. Feeding behaviors not only diminish the foraging abilities of the macaques but can also lead to aggressive behaviors. To maintain the natural environment and the original lifestyle of the monkey population, it is essential to adhere to the conservation principles of "Do not feed, Do not contact, Do not disturb." Keeping an appropriate distance to observe the monkeys is a form of protection for both parties. For a relaxed hike in Ershui, it is recommended to park at Fengbai Square and walk the Ershui Temple Trail to visit the Shoutian Temple. One can enjoy the experience of past farmers carrying their produce from Songbai Keng (mountain top people) back and forth to Changhua's Ershui township. The Ershui Temple Trail is approximately 2.1 kilometers long, consisting of asphalt paths and steps, generally flat until the last section with steep steps leading up to the temple, which is not far away. After visiting the temple, one can also explore the century-old tea street to appreciate the charm of Songbai Changqing tea.
