Erwanping Station, located at an elevation of about 2000 meters, is an important junction on the Alishan Forest Railway and a hidden gem for many travelers and photography enthusiasts. Here, one can enjoy tranquil mountain forests and picturesque railway views, as well as unique sea of clouds, sunsets, and lush forests. Additionally, Erwanping Station is an excellent location for viewing the sunset from Tashan and the sea of clouds, especially spectacular during the autumn and winter seasons. Visitors can reach Erwanping by turning off at the fork near the 86K mark on Alishan Highway, with approximately three kilometers to travel to reach both Erwanping and the Youth Activity Center of the Republic of China Relief Society at Alishan.

Additionally, Erwanping Station is an excellent spot for watching the sunset and sea of clouds over Tashan, especially spectacular during the autumn and winter seasons. To visit Erwanping, travelers can turn off at the fork near Alishan Highway 86K and take about three kilometers to reach both Erwanping and the Youth Activity Center of the Republic of China National Youth Commission in Alishan.
