Erwanping Station, located at an altitude of about 2000 meters, is one of the important intermediate stations of the Alishan Forest Railway. It is also a hidden gem for many travelers and photography enthusiasts. Here, you can enjoy tranquil mountain forests and railway scenery, as well as unique sea of clouds, sunsets, and lush forests. Additionally, Erwanping Station is an excellent spot for viewing the sunset over Ta Shan and the sea of clouds, especially spectacular during the autumn and winter seasons. Visitors can reach Erwanping by turning into a fork near the 86K mark on Alishan Highway, with about a three-kilometer journey to reach both Erwanping and the Youth Activities Center of the Republic of China National Youth Commission at Alishan.
