Bamboo Forest Leisure Agriculture Area Introduction

Zhulinfarm Recreation Area is located next to the South Cross-Island Highway in Liugui District, at an altitude between 400 and 1300 meters. The climate is mild, and from the peak, you can gaze at the lush Central Mountain Range and overlook the gentle stream of Baolai River. Especially during the winter and spring seasons, the area is adorned with blooming plum and pear blossoms, creating a stunning sea of flowers that makes you feel like you're in a paradise. In the early days, the local economy centered around bamboo cultivation, producing bamboo shoots and dried bamboo shoots, which is why the place is named "Zhulinf" (Bamboo Forest). Established in 2001 with government guidance and planning, the "Zhulinfarm Recreation Area" introduces leisure agriculture. The area's attractions include not only plums and plum blossoms but also a unique experience with different seasonal offerings, making it a burgeoning tourist destination. It is recommended to stay for about an hour. Due to poor road conditions between Baolai and Zhulinf, please pay attention to driving safety if you plan to visit; it is advisable to contact local farmers by phone in advance to confirm.
