Bamboo Forest Recreational Agricultural Area Introduction
Zhulin Leisure Agricultural Area is located next to the Nanrong Highway in Liouguei District, at an elevation between 400 to 1300 meters. The climate is mild, and at the peak, you can enjoy stunning views of the Central Mountain Range’s lush layers and overlook the gentle flow of Baolai Creek. Especially during the winter and spring seasons, the area is filled with the blossoms of plum and cherry trees, creating a sea of flowers that makes you feel as if you have entered an idyllic paradise. In the past, the local economy was primarily based on bamboo cultivation, producing bamboo shoots and dried bamboo shoots, which is how the name "Zhulin" came to be. In 2001, under government guidance and planning, the "Zhulin Leisure Agricultural Area" was established to introduce leisure agriculture. In addition to plums and plum blossoms, the area offers a different experience with each season, making it an emerging tourist attraction. It is recommended to spend about 1 hour here. Due to poor road conditions between Baolai and Zhulin, please pay attention to driving safety if you plan to go, and it is advisable to contact local farmers by phone beforehand to confirm your visit.
