Bamboo Forest Leisure Agricultural Area Introduction

Zhulin Leisure Agricultural Area is located beside the Nanheng Highway in Liugui District, at an elevation between 400 meters and 1300 meters. The climate is mild, and from the peak, one can enjoy a distant view of the Central Mountain Range and overlook the gentle flow of Baolai Creek. Especially during winter and spring, the park is adorned with blooming plum and pear trees, creating a sea of flowers that makes visitors feel as though they have entered a paradise. Initially, the area focused on bamboo cultivation, producing bamboo shoots and dried bamboo shoots, and the local name "Zhulin" comes from this practice. In 2001, with guidance from the government, the "Zhulin Leisure Agricultural Area" was established, introducing leisure agriculture to the region. In addition to plums and plum blossoms, the area features different seasonal experiences, making it a rising tourist destination. A recommended stay is about one hour. Please note that road conditions between Baolai and Zhulin are not good, so ensure driving safety, and it's advisable to contact local farmers by phone to confirm before visiting.
