To the east of the Salt Museum is the Guangying Cave Museum, to the north is the salt workers' residential area, and to the west lies the abandoned mechanical salt fields, facing the Qigu Salt Mountain in the distance. Taiwan Salt Museum Introduction

The Taiwan Salt Museum has been closed for renovations since January 10, 2022. It is the only themed museum in Taiwan related to the salt industry, preserving hundreds of years of cultural heritage regarding salt production. The "salt" is a crystallization of the sweat and tears of salt workers, and the distinctive pyramid-like appearance of the salt piles makes them stand out, resembling two white pyramids standing in the salt fields from a distance. To the east of the salt museum is the Guanyi Stalactite Museum, to the north lies the residential area of salt workers, and to the west are abandoned mechanical salt fields, gazing towards Qigu Salt Mountain in the distance. The second floor of the museum is a condensed history of the development of Taiwan's salt industry, featuring oral stories from local elders and salt workers, displays of yellowed old photographs, and various interesting uses of salt in everyday life, making it particularly suitable for children to explore.
