Zengwen River Estuary Wetland Introduction
Along with the Sicao Wetland, it is one of the two major international wetlands in Taiwan, located at the mouth of the Zengwen River. It stretches from the Dingtou Sandbar Lighthouse (Qigu Lighthouse) in the north, along the southern embankment and the Qigu coastal dike, down to the Qingcaolun dike on the southern bank of the Zengwen River, with Provincial Highway 17 (Guoxing Bridge) forming the eastern boundary, and extending westward to the 6-meter depth contour, covering a total area of 3,218 hectares.
