Longshan Temple Introduction
Longshan Temple is located in Longshan Village, Qigu District. Upon arriving at Longshan Village, visitors can see the magnificent appearance of the temple, which serves as an important architectural landmark for the village and a significant center of faith for the residents. The locals refer to Longshan Temple as "Wang Gong." It mainly worships Wang Ye and also enshrines various deities, including Wufu Qiansui, Tian Shang Sheng Mu, Tian Du Yuan Shuai, Zhong Tan Yuan Shuai, Jiang Jun Fu, Fu De Zheng Shen, and Zhu Sheng Niang Niang. The interior of Longshan Temple features luxurious decorations, with exquisite coffered ceilings and eye-catching murals adorning the walls, showcasing the beauty of traditional architecture. In front of Longshan Temple is Longshan Fishing Port, where local catches are traded. The fish auction starts daily at 6:30 AM, allowing visitors to purchase fresh seafood and experience the vibrant market atmosphere. It is also a great starting point for boat tours to nearby sandbars to admire the oyster farms and listen to guided tours.
