Challenge the Northeast Coast Little Great Wall and collect breathtaking views of the horizon. The lush green mountain skyline, winding brown pathways, blue skies, white clouds, and the vast ocean create a picturesque landscape. The Bitou Cape Trail has become one of the popular Instagram spots in northern Taiwan. With a bit of effort and patience in climbing, beautiful photos from various angles are easily attainable. This area has long been a favored hiking base for many outdoor enthusiasts. The wooden plank trail is approximately 3.5 kilometers long, showcasing magnificent mountain and sea bays, fascinating coastal erosion formations, crashing waves, and vibrant seaside plants. Additionally, it offers a 360-degree panoramic view, with the entirety of the Northeast Coast right under your feet, presenting a spectacular sight of the sea merging with the sky. If you want to fully appreciate the beauty of the Bitou Cape Trail, it's recommended to set aside 2 to 3 hours. This allows for a leisurely stroll amidst the rolling hills while enjoying the expansive coastal scenery. No matter when you visit, you can discover various charms here: in the early morning, a thin mist envelops the mountains and trails, adding a touch of mystery; during midday, the bright sunlight makes the blue sky, white clouds, and the mountain-sea landscape even more vibrant, creating postcard-like scenes; in the evening, the warm golden sunset draws many photography enthusiasts to capture the last rays of light. Set off this weekend and experience this truly enchanting Taiwanese version of the Great Wall! [Note] 1.
