Qilin Mountain Forest Trail Introduction

Qilin Mountain Forest Trail, also known as the Changqing Hiking Trail, is located behind the Zantian Temple and the Pu-xing Temple in Tianzhong Township, on a lesser-known small mountain. The Qilin Mountain Forest Trail is not very long, with a total length of about 1.4 kilometers, and most of the trail runs under Acacia trees. The elevation gain is not significant, and it can be hiked in a loop, making it a family-friendly recreational trail. The scenery along the Qilin Mountain Forest Trail is quite pleasant, especially along the ridge section, where you can overlook the entire scenery of Tianzhong Township. The trail begins at Zantian Temple, passes by Pu-xing Temple, and connects to the Changqing Bicycle Path via stone steps as the first section. The second section ascends via steps to the highest resting and picnic area. The third section runs along the ridge to a pavilion from the resting area. The fourth section descends from the pavilion along a production road back to the trailhead, and then follows the original trail down.
