Chilong Mountain Forest Trail Introduction
Qilin Mountain Forest Trail, also known as Changqing Hiking Trail, is a lesser-known hiking trail located behind the Zantian Temple and the Puxing Temple in Tianzhong Township. The trail is approximately 1.4 kilometers long and mostly runs under Acacia trees. The elevation change is minimal, and it allows for a loop hike, making it suitable for family leisure activities. The scenery along the Qilin Mountain Forest Trail is quite impressive, especially along the ridge where you can enjoy panoramic views of Tianzhong Township. The trail begins from Zantian Temple, passes through Puxing Temple to connect with the stairway leading to Changqing Bicycle Path as the first section. The second section involves climbing the stairs to the highest rest and picnic area. The third section goes along the ridge from the rest and picnic area to a pavilion. The fourth section descends from the pavilion along the industrial road back to the trailhead and then follows the original trail down the mountain.
