Qilin Mountain Forest Trail Introduction
Qilin Mountain Forest Trail, also known as the Changqing Hiking Trail, is located behind the Zantian Temple and Puxing Temple in Tianzhong Township, making it a lesser-known hiking trail. The Qilin Mountain Forest Trail is not very long, with a total length of about 1.4 kilometers, and most of the trail runs under acacia trees. The elevation gain is not steep, and it can be circled, making it a family-friendly recreational trail. The scenery along the Qilin Mountain Forest Trail is quite nice, especially the ridgeline section, where visitors can enjoy a view of the entire Tianzhong Township. The first segment of the Qilin Mountain Forest Trail begins at Zantian Temple, passing Puxing Temple and connecting to the Changqing Bicycle Path via steps. The second segment climbs steps from the starting point to the highest resting and picnic area. The third segment runs along the ridgeline to a pavilion from the resting and picnic area. The fourth segment descends from the pavilion along the industrial road back to the starting point of the trail, then follows the original path down the mountain.
