Barefoot Elf Introduction
A long time ago, a group of fairies arrived at Houtanjing in the Bagua Mountain Range of Nantou City. They trod on the fertile red soil and planted pumpkins, sweet potatoes, pineapples, and more. Every morning and evening, they walked on the red earth, their shadows elongated by the setting sun, and their feet stained red. They are known as the charming "Barefoot Fairies" in legend... At an elevation of 488 meters, Houtanjing is neither a high mountain nor within the city, making it a place that is "neither mountain nor city." However, the scenery is beautiful, the residents are friendly, and the agricultural products are abundant and of high quality. Since the "Sky Bridge" was established in the summer of 2012, tourists from various places have flocked to the mountain, amazed by its beauty. The "Barefoot Fairies" meticulously develop wood-fired baked bread using local specialties, offering unique flavors and excellent texture, perfectly complemented by a cup of the local star - ice-dripped "Red Earth Coffee." We carefully select the most natural local ingredients and bake in a traditional pumpkin-shaped wood-fired stone oven, without adding sugar, oil, or preservatives, and employ a slow and meticulous process to ferment and bake the bread, ensuring that even the most discerning palate is satisfied!
