Chishui Cape Trail Introduction
Originally a road connecting Tianjung in Changhua and Mingjian in Nantou, it has now become a hiking trail linking Beitian Temple in Tianjung Township, Changhua County. The surrounding river valley and forest form a strip-shaped recreational area called Chishuiqi Park. The trail is approximately 1.2 kilometers long, featuring a gently sloping forest path, with only a steep staircase diverging to the right toward Beitian Temple. Along the trail, there are benches and pavilions where visitors can stop to admire the forest and seek out traces of insects and wild birds. Upon reaching Beitian Temple, one can enjoy views of the lush forest and Tianjung's urban landscape, and the temple offers drinking water and public restrooms (which may vary due to the pandemic). Additionally, there are several food stalls at the end of the trail, making it very suitable for public recreational hiking. Trail length: 1.24 kilometers. Walking time: 0.7 hours. Facilities include: Chishuiqi Park parking lot (for scooters, cars, and buses), benches, pavilions, and information boards.
