Chiu Liang-kong Old House Introduction

This building is the ancestral home of Qiu Liang-gong, located in the middle section of Wujing Street in Jincheng Township. Inside the house, there is a square bronze mirror and two carved dragon edicts, each measuring 61 centimeters in height and 85 centimeters in width, with the characters for "edict" (聖旨) each measuring 12 centimeters square. It is said that Liang-gong was granted nobility, and when the emperor heard that his family's house was simple, he graciously bestowed a noble residence, thus giving the two edict stones to be placed at the main entrance of the residence. The building features a combination of one story with four gables, a left protrusion, and wall regulations.
